Developing Musicianship Through Improvisation
Online Course
Improvisation in music is the spontaneous expression of meaningful musical ideas—it is analogous to conversation in language. Interestingly, we are born improvisors, as evidenced by our behaviour in early childhood and is clearly demonstrated in children’s play. Improvisation enable musicians to express themselves from an internal source and is central to developing musicianship in all aspects of music.
This course will introduce practical, hands-on techniques to enhance your musicianship, develop improvisation skills, and learn how to include improvisation as an integral part of your music.
