In Class Courses

In Class Courses are offered when there is enough interest.
When there is not enough interest these are offered as private lessons.

For more information, or to register for a course, please email.

Teaching Year:

All in class courses are based on the following teaching year and run from September - May, and gears students to writing the exam in the May examination session.  Many times students decide to defer the exam until August, which works very well for the history and pedagogy courses.

All courses rely on a course website and will use online resources (e.g. assignments, reviews, and quizzes).  Lectures will make use of the multimedia whiteboard, PowerPoint presentations, with class discussion and interaction throughout the class.

In Class Courses offered on any given year:
  • RCM Harmony 9
  • RCM Harmony 10
  • RCM History 9
  • RCH History 10
  • RCM History ARCT
  • Pedagogy
A minimum enrollment of 4 students is required to offer a course.

Registration Information
Tuition may be paid in one of three ways:
  1. Full tuition: The full tuition fee and registration fee at the time of registration.
  2. Monthly Tuition Fee:  Tuition can be paid on a monthly basis (September 1 – May 1).  First month’s tuition and registration fee are due at the time of registration. Post-dated cheques are required for the remaining months - dated for the first of each month (October 1 to May 1). Tuition is prorated over a total of 9 months
  3. Two-payments of tuition: First payment of tuition is due at the time of registration and the second tuition payment is due on January 1.  If paying in two payments, the first half is due at the time of registration and a post-dated cheque is required for the second payment, dated January 1.

All arrangements for tuition payment must be made and received at the time of registration.

Refund Policy: There is no refund for missed classes nor for early withdrawal from a class.
